NSBMB CONFERENCE 2017

The National Society of Biochemists & Molecular Biologists 2017 Conference that held in the University of Uyo from Monday 13th November till Thursday 16th November 2017 was SUPERB!!!!

Biochemistry students from all over Nigeria got to get together & see biochemistry outside their various campuses. Mixing up wasn't very difficult as most of the conversations started with. "Hello, what university are you from?".

The professors, doctors, students and other delegates from the other universities arrived Uyo on Monday & then the conference proper began on Tuesday. We got a speech from the wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel, who also happens to be a graduate of biochemistry. i had fun during the conference, especially because i got to listen to other professors talk about things we were taught already.

We also gave a tour to our visitor students who wanted to have a view of the State. We took them to the University of Uyo permanent Site, Discovery park, Tropicana, Tilapia resort and on one night we let them have a view of the Waterfalls by Nwaniba Road, Uyo.

On the last day we had dinner together an it as....Amazing!!

I'll get exhausted if I make an attempt to tell the full gist, but in summary NSBMB Conference 2017 was A HIT!!!!!, LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE FUN IN SCHOOL PERIODS!
