I'm thrilled to participate in Steem For Lifestyle first-ever contest, centered around the 'Lifestyle Diary Game.' As an avid fitness enthusiast and sports lover, specifically passionate about football, I'm excited to share my athletic lifestyle journey. Through this diary game, I look forward to expressing my deep passion, love and dedication to maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. Let the lifestyle diary game begin🤩


According to our team training schedule, I keep fit four days in a week, which are; Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. On Monday, September 16th, my day begins at 6:00 am with preparation for our team training session. As a member of the STAYFIT FITNESS CLUB, led by Coach @ngoenyi, I prioritize group workouts over individual training. Our team's collective energy and Coach Ngoenyi's expert guidance motivate me to push my limits.

With the motivation, I joined the team in doing the first abdominal exercise which was the 'plank'. I performed the plank exercise by positioning my forearms on a soft mat, extending my legs straight behind me, and holding my bodies up in a straight line, suspended in mid-air, until the Tabata timer completed its 8 rounds.


Despite my bright smile throughout the workout, I'd be lying if I said it was pain-free. The truth is, the intense Tabata session left me feeling the burn, particularly in my lower region. After completing all 8 grueling rounds, I was relieved yet exhilarated, knowing I'd pushed my limits.

Next on the list was 'knee tuck', as part of abdominal exercise for the day. I archived this by balancing on one leg, lift the other leg up to forehead level, then swung it down and up in a fluid motion, still following the 8 repetition tabata song. The entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable, as fitness is a lifestyle I've passionately chosen. Our inspiring coach's mantra, 'Have fun while doing your programs,' resonated deeply with me.


As I moved through the knee tuck exercise, the infectious Tabata song lyrics echoed in my mind, making the challenge feel effortless and energizing. Completing the Tabata session, I felt an immense sense of accomplishment. As I exhaled deeply, the cracking sound in my chest caught me off guard. Concerned, I turned to Coach for guidance.

With a reassuring smile, Coach explained that the sound indicated optimal engagement of my core muscles. My anxiety and concern dissipated, replaced by pride in my proper form and effective workout.

Following my coach's demonstration of bend stretches and side stretches, I was eager to put these exercises into practice to achieve optimal results. I executed the bend stretch by placing my hands on my waist, then slowly leaning forward, folding my upper body until my head was nestled between my legs. Holding this position for several seconds, I allowed my muscles to relax and stretch. Finally, I slowly erected my body, feeling refreshed and flexible.


I executed the side stretch by employing a dual-motion technique. First, I placed my left hand on the left side of my waist for stability and lifted my right hand overhead, stretching my right side. To target the opposite side, I mirrored the movement, placing my right hand on the right side of my waist and extending my left hand above my head.

After the abdominal programmes were completed, I went into breathing exercise. I inhaled deeply seven times, filling my lungs with fresh air, and exhaled slowly, releasing any remaining tension. This particular exercise helps strengthen my heart, and helps in blood circulation. I told you guys earlier that I'm a sports lover, and football to be precise. Let's go to football field then!🤩


Following the productive abdominal workout session, we divided our team into two squads, Team Blue and Team Yellow, each comprising 11 players. We were all set and ready to show our talent on the grass. We had a referee too to avoid excessive foul plays.

I proudly donned the number 9 jersey for Team Blue, ready to take on the challenge. Despite Team Yellow's formidable lineup and perceived advantage, the unpredictable nature of football prevailed. As I stepped onto the pitch, the number was worn by me with pride and honor and I was determined to make it count. With each goal, my confidence grew, and my team's momentum surged. The fourth goal, a clinical finish from outside the box, sealed my hat-trick and secured the win.

After 2 hours of the joyful game, the final whistle was blown and Team Blue were the winners, with 7 goals to 1. Team yellow had to struggle for some hours, before they could get the consolation goal. Overjoyed, I celebrated with my teammates, basking in the glory of an unforgettable performance.


I prioritize fitness as a way of life, embracing an athletic lifestyle that fuels my passion. As a result, I don't feel muscles pains like before. There was a time I couldn't play football because of my knee, but my Atheletic lifestyle made it easy now. I learn and draw inspiration from fitness enthusiast experiences, further solidifying my commitment to this active, healthy lifestyle. Indeed, embracing an athletic lifestyle has transformed my life.

Exercising keeps our body healthy. I understood from your post that you regularly take one size a few days a week. Nice to read that @ngoenyi is your coach. Although I do not exercise regularly. Anyway, your post is great. good luck
