Symbiosis (Acrylic)

My art is a kind of evocation. I spent two days pondering what to paint. Nothing filled my soul. On my pilgrimage, I wandered through disparate landscapes. Nothing was captivating enough to hold my attention.
I continued, distressed. Amidst the dense desert sand. Many faces, many enigmatic visages, demanding to be painted. But I felt my search continued.
I pressed on among the crags. Goats engaged in their frantic struggle to climb. The scent of the sea was in the air. The cries of sailors unloading their catch.

I saw this painting and felt as if it were speaking to me, in the language of a work that needs to be heard. I surrendered to its embrace and began the first strokes, which wandered across the canvas, taking shape, shimmering, and shining. The task was arduous. Weariness accompanied me, like someone determined to see the dawn at all costs. Weariness and I, astonished by each reflection.

Cotton canvas measuring 50 cm x 70 cm, acrylic paint from the Shuttle Art brand. I used 12 brushes of different types and sizes. The colors I used were: Gray, Yellow Ochre, Brown, Titanium White, and Black.
