PROMO STEEM: FIRST DAY OF INTRODUCING STEEMIT TO MY BPO FRIENDS

Hello, Good Day promo-steem community, I greet you all with a smile. Lets thank God for everyday blessings he gives us. Lets start our day right and make the best out of it.

Yesterday, I had a video call meeting with my colleagues using zoom app at 7 o’clock in the evening. I sent them an invitation to Steemit in order for them to experiences, share stories of people, and earn rewards here. At first they are very hesitant since they don’t have an experience on how write a story or how to start blogging. But I encourage them that it’s easy you just need to know the basic rules of the platform and know where to post it.

For a starter they have a lot of questions, asking me anything they want but I’m happy with it since they become interested and we have a healthy conversation. I got their attention when I said that by writing they can earn a reward or basically they can make it a sideline with their work today.

SOME BASIC QUESTION THEY ASKED

What is Steemit?

I answered them that it’s a blockchain based blogging and social media website where you can earn a cryptocurrency that called STEEM and SBD (Steem Dollar). By just publishing your content in the website and someone will upvote you can get a reward.

What is Cryptocurrency?

It’s a digital or virtual currency that you can convert to your countries currency. I asked them if they know bitcoin (since it’s really well-known today) and they said yes. I said that’s something similar to that but much lower in price.

How can I get rewards?

I explained to them that they can have a reward if someone appreciate their post by up voting it or by simpler term a like or reaction when you base it on facebook website.
But I make them understand that if you can’t get an upvote on your post just don’t be discourage and lost hope since it’s not everyday you can get an upvote and its doesn’t mean your content is bad. Just give your best for every content you post and someday someone will recognize you.
I also educate them to think of this platform as a long term investment

What content do I need to post?

Anything you want as long as you write it with your own words and use your own pictures. A lot of community offers a contest that free to enter. You can post your daily activities in life, if you love to cook foods then you can post it steps by steps or make a video tutorial.
I give them a tip that if they write a post it should be quality with a minimum of 100-300 words per post.
I also encourage them that don’t use plagiarism because it can ruined your account and can get you blacklisted on the platform.

How can I sign up

I said to them that they can go on the steemit.com website and look for the sign up button and fill up everything that needs to fill-up and wait for a couple of days before they can have their account. I also said that they can chat me anytime if they need my assistance or have anything they want to know.

We have a very smooth conversation with my friends and I love how they responded with me. It’s really an honor to share the platform with them. It gives me joy and hope that steemit will also change their life and make them a better person by encouraging also their friends and family members to joined the community.
