How do I draw every day?
Friends sometimes ask me how I manage to draw every day. There are many other things: cooking, looking after the child (I have a daughter of one and a half years), household chores. Where does the time for drawing and writing posts on the Steemit? Friends, this is the post for you!
So, first of all, I must set a goal. And the goal is simple - to draw every day. Now I move on to the implementation ... and I understand that if I look at the amount of work that needs to be done every day, there is no time for drawing. But this is not true. Because often we are distracted by things that are not. As, for example, watching TV.
And I like to watch TV shows. And I grew up on X-files, it was serial number 1 on my list. And then there was another season! I want to watch, I want to draw. And it's only an hour. What am I doing? Correctly, I combine two things together! But for full-blown watercolor work I need a full immersion, attention to the process. What to do?
And then the brash foam and the liner come to the fore. I turn on the show on the computer, print out some kind of reference with the tree ... and meditate on the branches. Their intertwining and arrangement, while glancing sometimes at the computer monitor. Firstly, I train the eye-sight, when I redraw the intricacies of the branches, and secondly, I try not to completely immerse myself in the work and look at the monitor and monitor the plot.
There are opponents of this method. They say that people are single-tasked. And we cann’t do several things at once. I don’t agree with it. And you?
