HARVESTING TEMPORARILY GROWN VEGETABLES.

Today is the day I decided to to harvest a few vegetables that I had planted two weeks back. I woke at 4:00am, I said my prayers up to 6:00am and organised my self however I did the harvesting at 4:00pm because I had some other responsibilities to do before I go to get the greens from the compound where I had planted them.

After all my other responsibilities I got a dish of harvesting my greens and I went to the compound to get some that I will eat at supper time. This would be eaten as a side dish for the family.

Sometimes I harvest the greens to be eaten as the first meal before breakfast for digestion. It helps to make digestion easy if some one has stomach complications it better to eat vegetables. One can decide to prepare them by boiling then, putting them in g-nute pest or Frying them.

To me I first washed them, chopped them in to small pieces then I first boiled them to remove the first water because these where a beat beater in my language these greens are called dodo.

Boiling and pouring the beaterness to be reduced however some people prefer the beater ones so they cook them at once and eat but as for me after preparing I fried them and we had it as a side dish.

Vegetables are very helpful to us in that they add us more blood, they give us proteins hence improving on our health.

We also had some other meals on addition to the vegetables such as Matooke, beaf stew and g-nutes. It was just a wonderful meal.

Harvesting the vegetables is a very enjoyable activity especially when you planted them it makes you feel good when people are enjoying your results . However it can be tiresome if you are harvesting a lone on a large scale.

Oooh, that was a super lesson. I might onward consider having a veg meal before any other mouth-washing lick food for the sake of this worthy lesson you dished out to us for free.

Thanks dear

I like "dodo" (green vegetables). They have lots benefits as they ease digestion. How long have those green vegetables taken from the time of planting to the time of harvest?
