I think that everyone appreciates nature and the beauty that it gives us. Nature brings us peace, quiet and some alone time or family time for a walk. We all admire the view of nature and the colors of nature that are more than amazing. Well, Gatineau, in Ottawa has an exquisite and unique nature, something very special. This city has so much to offer, from the museums, architecture, sports, good food, but nature… it is mind-blowing. For all of you that love nature, this is the perfect place for you. The most beautiful park, Gatineau Park. Never hesitate when nature is in question.
The Park is located in the Outaouais region of Quebec. It is a 361 km/139 square meters, a wedge of land extending in the north and west from the city of Gatineau. A huge park, the beauty is exquisite, and the park includes parts of the municipalities of Chelsea, Pontiac, Le Peche and the City of Gatineau. But the main entrance to the park is in the north of downtown Ottawa, Ontario.

Also, besides the beauty, the park has an amazing history. A long history of human inhabitation and usage predating the arrival of European settler,
also it includes all kinds of forms of human exploitation such as farming, logging, hunting, and industrial activities. The history of the Park starts back in the days in 1903.

The Park is open from:
- November 2 to April 30 - from Monday to Friday – 09:00 am to 04:00 pm
-Saturday and Sunday – 09:00 am to 05:00 pm - December 26 to January 2 – from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm
- May 1th to November 1th – from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm
You will enjoy, have fun, relax, have the best time of your life, but also there is a range of activities that you can do while you are visiting the Park,
like swimming, hiking- 165km, biking, camping, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and also a heritage sites and nature interpretation. Trails are big, - 200km. Also, the Park is a sanctuary for more than 100 species of plants and animals at risk. It is managed by the National Capital Commission. There is no admission, the entrance to the heaven park is free. The parking is also free! Pets are allowed, and there are public, available bathrooms. It is a clean park, there are signs within the trails that are helpful, and so much more, it is worth a visit!
