The City of Valle De Guadalupe in Mexico is famous for wine and vineyards and has a long-standing history with vineyards. Some of the best and exotic variety of wines from this area of the country and the Museum of Vine and Wine is a tribute to the association of wines with Mexico. The museum is located nearly 81 km from Baja California and pretty close to the entrance to Hacienda de Guadalupe. This is the only wine museum in Mexico that makes it unique and distinct and spread across an area of around 10 thousand square meters.

The museum is dedicated to the culture of wine and art and gives detailed information about the history of winemaking in that particular area and how it started. The city of Valle de Guadalupe is one of the largest producers of wine in Mexico, and the museum traces back all the history about winemaking from the beginning. The museum open in the year 1999 and the sole purpose was to promote and enhance the wine production of the area by preserving and tracing back the history, collection information about the tools used in the production and the process used since medieval times.

There are many documents and reproductions available in the museum that is an interesting piece of history for wine lovers. The wine displays a large number of reproductions of paintings majorly two works by Bartolomeo Bimbi, important documents like Exile of Cosimo III, movies, photographs, etc. The journey of the beginning of winemaking starting from its harvesting, growing, and production in the countryside to documenting the development of robust wine cellar facilities like storage and bottling is chronically displayed. The museum is divided into different rooms, and each of the rooms is dedicated to different types of information.

The last room of the museum has a collection of 800 bottles of wines, some of which are even centuries old. The wine bottles belonged to Federico Melis who collected all of them from Europe while he was traveling across the continent. Apart from wine preparation, there is a lot of information even about the cultivation of dry fruits, olives, and others. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 am to 5 pm and closed on Monday. The entry fee for adult is 2.62 USD, and for children under the age of 12 years, entry is free.
