Good day Steemians,

How are you guys doing today? I hope you guys are all doing fine? It is a very great day marking the first of Agust this year, I wish you all the best.

It is very unfortunate that our Nigeria government is a failed government. Our government are just bunches of self centered wicked men that have no internet of the masses at heart, rather the interest of their pockets and unborn generations.

The protest today was great but distractive , but that doesn't make me to go against the protesters because going against protest in Nigeria now is tantamount to killing of one's destiny. The first day of Agust 2024 was scheduled by the whole Nigerians to protest against the evils of bad government, that is why it happened today.

I woke up very early as possible today around half pass 4am today, after that, I took my bath , brushed up my teeth and left for work immediately because I was very afraid of any kind of hold up that may come on my way as a result of the end bad government protest scheduled on the 1st of Agust.

So, when I arrived my place of work, my manager said based on what he is hearing about the protest today, we are not going to open the shop fully for business today rather, we will remain inside the shop and be guiding the shop against any form of attack that may arise as a result of the protest because some bad elements will definitely be around to cause destructions during the protest.

After a while that we were inside the shop arranging some other goods, I heard a great noise from behind the shop And many people gathered spectating some group of youths that were demonstrating on the road,

some carrying cutlass, some were carrying long stick and other were carrying leaves shouting and singing all kinds of music against the hardship that the government put us in presently.

Every were was hot and were body were angry and participating in the protest . All the okada Ridders, Keke Ridders, babanbola boys and also women carrying leaves demonstrating on the road against the evils of Nigeria government.

The madness against the evils of bad government was high today as they all have thesame song and messages that they were carrying with the following inscriptions;

END BAD GOVERNMENT
REDUCE FUEL PRICE TO #200 PER LITER
NIGERIANS ARE HUNGRY
OPEN THE BODERS FOR FOOD TO COME INTO THE COUNTRY..ETC.....
REDUCE HOSPITAL BILLS IN FEDERAL HOSPITALS.

Infact I was extremely distracted from my work because the protest last till evening today.. my prayer is that, let the government hear our cry because the average Nigerians are dying in all ramifications.
