5 THINGS THAT CAN PREVENT YOU FROM ACHIEVING YOUR DREAMS

I was in the library one afternoon trying to just read something concerning my area of expertise. We had just finished having lecture with one of my favourite lecturer. I mean the way this lecturer teach is a different case. He teaches with passion and zeal. I personally gave him a nickname which is "the history figure". Trust me, if you are in one of his teachings you won't want to leave. I love history as well as telling it in an interesting passionate way.

In the library sitting at my favourite place close to where the air conditioner was positioned. Oh my God, I love that place, always cool and interesting, took a book and began scanning through.

In the last content, I spoke about why we must pursue our dreams. Trust me if you haven't read it, you've got to because you will gain alot from it.

So in today's episode, I will be writing on five things that prevent you from achieving your dreams. It is true that some really want to achieve their dreams but something always pull them back. This month of October is a series on anything concerning achieving your dreams and so many other things attached to it. Don't miss out and as well don't forget to share with your friends who are passionate achieving their dreams.

📌 Wrong association: Who you associate with determines a lot in the fulfilment of your dreams. I could still remember period of me begining to pursue my dreams of making people understand that they are created for GREATNESS and ways they can turn their passion into something that would seriously be generating revenue for them, a lot of my friends were not in support. They were like why would I want to go into something like that. I believe you have been in that situation where your friends at times will tell you, you are out of your mind. Well, they have say that to me if they haven't to you. It is also written in the scripture that bad company corrupt good manners. If you hang out in the wrong association, you'll soon do the wrong thing and it can cost you your dreams. I do say "iron shapeneth iron, if your friends are not shapening you change them". I choose carefully whom I would give access into my life because I know where am going. My friend, not everyone you can give access to your life. You have the right to dispose any friend who doesn't support your dreams or someone you sense anytime you try to take a big step of faith, there wordings only can destroy that your faith.

📌 Lack of belief in your dream: If you don't believe in your dream or what God Almighty has placed within your heart, who will? The truth is that, you are the first to see you dream or sense that tingling within your heart of you knowing this is where I want to go or be. This is where I want to impact the world. Take note: you must understand there is a different between your dream and God given dream. Your dream might be to make your family successive and great. Yeah, it awesome but the truth is that God given dream is dream to impact the world and cause a great change here on earth. Yeah, that true. God will never give you a dream you can fulfill yourself. He is interested in working with you to cause a great impact which would require you trusting Him. For your dream to be fulfilled, you need to believe that it will be accomplished no matter how big it is. You know more than what you think you know. My friend, you are created for GREATNESS, hold that thought everyday of your life and see what happens.

📌 Ingratitude: A lot are not grateful for the manifestation of smaller dreams, how can bigger one be manifested? You must cultivate an attitude of gratitude to actually see your dream come into reality. It is not happy people that are thankful, it is thankful people that happy. You need to cultivate an attitude of gratitude to seeing your dreams manifest. I have come to realize that the moment am thankful, it makes working to the achievement of dream easy. You need positive energy to fulfill that dream of yours.

📌 Unforgiveness: This is the one I hate and mostly afraid of. My God! I know the reason why am afraid of it, it does a lot of harm. Having understood it effect, I don't like getting offended and if am offended because the fact that you relate with people means there will be period of misunderstanding. It got to the point that if you offended me, I seriously humble myself no matter how I senior the individual in age to apologize because I don't just like having any negative energy in me. It disrupt alot of my activities. It might sound fully but I know what Unforgiveness can do. The truth is that forgiveness is setting a prisoner free and discovering that the prisoner was you. Why would I hold myself prisoner by a negative emotion. My friend, to really fulfill your dream, you have to forgive yourself, your family, siblings and colleagues. Take a sheet of paper right now and write down the names of those that have offended you and those you think you've offended. Send a check up message telling them you appreciated everything they did. Trust me, you are doing this for yourself and unborn generations.

📌 Lack of patient: Let me ask you a question, can you endure the gestation process in order to birth what God is trying to birth through you? You need patient to fulfill your dream. At times the process of achieving a dream is more important than the dream itself. In the process of achieving your dream, trust God Almighty, enjoy the process and follow through. Don't be naggy, depress or sad in the process. Instead cultivate patient and be thankful for every process and you be glad you did so.
