Lazy boring day kinda day.

Today, I was feeling very low in the morning. The weather is changing for good and i don't want to get up from my bed. Nostalgia hits me and i remember the days, when i used to sleep and wake up on my convenience, days were for Sleep, and nights for owl searching.

Anyway, i woke up at 9:30, cleansed house, took a shower, did my breakfast, took my poison (tea).

I don't understand those people who say they can't sleep after having strong tea. So is not the case here, i can immediately sleep after having a strong tea. Or maybe I am immune to tea now .

Instead of sleeping again, i opened my book of Namal, an Urdu novel. This is my favourite book, ignore the unsophisticated pictures and condition of the book. I have read it 4 or 5 times, don't know on which turn currently i am.

I'm not the sole culprit behind this mangled book. My whole family has read this novel multiple times.

This is not an ordinary book, definitely not an average Urdu fiction. It's about law system, justice, and murder in pakistan. This book was inspired and written after a real life incident of target killing, of shahzaib Khan, a 20year old boy by another boy of roughly this age, in 2012.

This case got very hype then, still you can search this in news, shahzaibkhanqatalcase.
How a wealthy boy(high at that time) killed another boy in Karachi defence i think, after having a dispute, in the pride of his wealth.

This is very close to my heart and i am already in love with the main character in the book saadi written after shahzaib khan.
How his family stood up for justice against the offenders.

This book also has a character of a girl who falls in love with the white collar criminal, and i can't admire enough how she heals her heart and fights on her own for her character.

If you guys read Urdu fiction, and haven't read this book yet. Then i don't know what you're doing with your life. Please don't fear the size of this book, you can't help to close it without finishing it as soon as possible.

When in doubt, play with a kid, to lift up your mood

One of my nephews is 2months old, and he is the only kid, I've seen in my life, who knows how to give respect to elders. By not crying or yelling when a young lady(like me) picks him up, very bright child, I'm telling you.

He loves to listen and talk, and gives response to every thing. The walls, paintings on walls, lights, shadows, and sometime smiles on his own seeing the ceiling.

I like this kid because he doesn't cry that much. When i play with this little Angel, my elder nephew always arrives, and adores me. This is the same kid who had attitude higher than Eiffel tower before the birth of my new nephew.

Time changes..

Now he has changed his attitude and loves us, and let us love him too, maybe due to his insecurity from his younger brother..hahaha

I love it how kids change. Now he gives me respect and sometime calls me Amina Phopho instead of Amina.

Then, i offered my Asar prayer and felt a little better. Namaz is for sakoon no doubt. After that, i went to the rooftop, which is a restricted area these days, because our neighbours are having construction work and their workers are there till the evening. I miss my afternoon walks too.
Thankfully there were gone.

I hydrated my plants and myself. These baby plants are also included in my love collection for mood lifting.

I was still there when azaan for magrib started. I put my phone aside. The sounds of mixed calls for Magrib were so calming❤. This hits different when you're down, or maybe this feeling and calmess could be the same if we put our phones down every time.

Finally, it's bedtime, and i don't sleep without listening a podcast. Sometimes, I prefer motivational videos but podcasts and information videos are on top priority. Motivation fades as the video end.

It's Nauman Ali Khan for tonight, an islamic scholar, who doesn't sound like our conforming scholars.

Writing brings clarity to mind. That's why i wrote this diary in this dear community and it feels very light now. Good night folks🌚
