Hey! I'm Amir

Hi everyone. So to introduce myself - I'm Amir, a student from Scotland studying Petroleum Engineering in England. Not exactly certain on the length to which one should divulge details until this hits main street (hopefully!) but aye, I enjoy the odd game of tennis during our five days of summer. I'd have to admit I've never been obsessed with anything as much as I have with the emergence of BITCOIN and now I've just discovered STEEM - like literally 3 hours ago.., and I think this holds the potential to be the 'killer app' as the great Antonopoulos prophesied! Although not to get to far ahead of myself, i must hazard caution and reserve judgement for now. haha

Anyways, I've only been a 'member?' less than a couple hours so i'm still getting a hang of the concepts of SD etc.. so if anyone has any advice or intelligent, backstopped reasons/explanations/metrics for why Steem could ermm STEAMROLL (cough cough) over facebook or other social network sites, please do share.
Personally, I feel Steem is like a mesh between Quora and facebook but holds great promise!
