In 1678 Subhadar Muhammad Azam Shah was the first to build this fort. He was in Dhaka for only 15 months. Later, he was sent to Delhi. The construction of the fort was not completed. Later, due to the transfer of the capital from Murshidabad to Dhaka, it did not extend to its work. It is gradually transformed into an elaborate castle. In 1844 the name of Aurangabad was changed to Lalbagh. Lalbagh Fort was named after it because of its fortress or fortress.

Some say that this road has been merged with Murshidabad. Some people say that this road has gone to Buriganga. So that they can easily run away when the enemy will attack.
Besides, the interior of the fort will charm you with a few small gardens, and by the way you will see a huge pond. But there is no water. It is believed that sometimes there was a bath in the elves. And there are some springs to impress you.
How to go
If you are outside of Dhaka, then you have to come to Dhaka first. Because it is located in Dhaka. You have to come to Gulistan in the heart of Dhaka. From there you will see that many rickshaws or Tempo Fortress fortresses call you up in any one of the above. Rent 15 taka And if you want to rickshaw, then it will be worth 50 rupees for the rent
And if you are in Dhaka, then you come back to Gulistan. From there the rickshaw or tempo goes to the Lalbagh Fort.
Entry price -
To enter the Lalbagh fort, you will have to count 20 rupees. And if you are a foreigner, the entry fee will increase by 10 yuan to 200 rupees. If you are a SAARC citizen, then the actual price will increase by 5 HU 100 Taka. Moreover, in the new way, the WiFi zone was started in the fort. That means you will be able to leave the inside of the castle, under the wifi under. You will get this service absolutely free. And if you are a student in a school or college, you will have to allow them to enter in exchange for only 5 rupees.

The mean of the hot period is open from 10am to 6pm in summer
They are open from 9am to 5pm in the winter
Lalbagh fort remains closed on Sunday. Half day is open on Monday.
As it is a government tourist spot, so the official holidays are closed.
