Psalm 7.
Psalm [a] of David, who sang to the Lord about Cush, of the tribe of Benjamin.
1 I come to you for protection, O Lord my God. Save me from those who persecute me! Rescue me! 2 If you do not do it, they will attack me like lions, they will tear me apart and I will not have to give my ransom. 3 Oh, Lord, my God, if he has been wrong or I am guilty of injustice, 4 if he is betrayed to a friend or plundered an adversary without reason, 5 then let my enemies capture me. Let them trample me and drag my honor across the floor.
