The Story of My Sister's Project|| 10% Beneficiary to @steem-nations
Today i want to share a little story about my sister’s project and how it took an unexpected turn.

It all started with something as simple as a title page. Let me tell you first, I have never been good at drawing or art. Back in school, whenever someone asked, "What’s your favorite period?" a lot of students say, "Art or drawing." Meanwhile, I was sitting there and thinking "Why do they like it?" I absolutely hated it. During art class, I was keep checking the clock, just waiting for the period to end.
When it came to class decorations or projects, I would literally hide from the teachers, hoping they would not assign me anything related to art and if i get something like that i leave that on my mother or sister and they say i think this is not your work, this is our work and i didn't do a little thing but my role in all of that was saying things like, "This doesn’t look good. Fix that!" while doing nothing myself.
But now, as the elder sister of two little girls, things have changed a bit. Yesterday, while i was sitting and scrolling through my phone, my youngest sister, who is in 2nd grade, came to me with a copy, a book and a pencil. She asked me to make a title page for her chapter on "Village Life." She even showed me a picture for reference.
My first reaction after seeing the reference picture was "No way. I can’t draw. Do it yourself." She, being the drama queen she is, replied, "I am going to sleep and when i wake up, I want this done." I refused again and she went to bed.
But at around midnight, I found myself staring at the picture. Something in me said, Let’s just give it a try. So i picked up the pencil and started drawing. To my surprise, I finished it in about half an hour.
In the morning, when she woke up, she asked if i had made the title page or not. I said, "Yes, check it out." Her reaction after seeing the title page was "What have you done?! This looks horrible." I laughed and said, "If anyone asks, just tell them you made it, okay?"
Fast forward to after school—she came home all excited and told me, Guess what? My teacher liked the title page and even asked who made it. I told her my elder sister made it and now she’s given me a whole project on "Village Life" that i have to submit till friday!
I couldn’t believe it. I thought she was joking. But when she showed me the title page with a star from the teacher, I was genuinely shocked. How could anyone like that?

Now, I have got the project to work on and i am determined to make it look as good as i can. Who knows? Maybe i am better at this art thing than i thought. I will share how the project turns out soon—wish me luck!
