Eid al-Fitr 1445 H, an opportunity to forgive each other

Today, April 10 2024 or exactly 1 Shawwal 1445 H, is the Eid al-Fitr holiday for the Islamic ummah, so on this holiday, I apologize physically and mentally to all my friends for mistakes I either intentionally or unintentionally.

after fasting in the month of Ramadan for a month, today has arrived as a day of victory, receiving forgiveness from the Almighty God. But the preacher delivered the contents of the Eid al-Fitr sermon today, there are 2 groups whose sins are not forgiven, even though they are obedient to worship and give alms and other good deeds.

The first person whose sins are not forgiven is the disobedience of our parents, our parents who have raised us and educated us so that we have succeeded in getting a job and a decent life, but the disobedience of these two people Old age is useless in the eyes of Almighty God.

respect our parents while they are still there, please their hearts, our parents do not ask for more, and material possessions from us, sometimes someone asks and we give them just enough, not worth the sacrifice when educate us and take care of us when we are still small. Our parents' prayers are very generous, it is thanks to our parents' prayers for us that we are like this.

if he has left us, then visit his grave, offer a prayer to him to forgive all his sins by the Almighty God, give alms to intend the reward for our parents.

next, the second group whose sins are not forgiven by the Almighty God are people who hate each other between brothers and neighbors, brothers and sisters and brothers cannot hate each other, remember how it was when you were still small, taking care of each other between brothers and sisters, protecting and sharing with each other, due to the property and so on that our parents left for us, so that we hate each other, we don't give in to each other. So on Eid day if we don't forgive each other all our sins are not forgiven. Neither do our fellow neighbors.

the moment on Eid day of forgiving each other, establishing a good relationship, to hope for the pleasure of God Almighty. Still maintaining our faith after receiving forgiveness, clean from sins as if we were just born.
