the SURVIVOR'S GUIDE of the FUTURE: EPISODE 4: a KNIFE
Some people don't realize EXACTLY how useful a knife is; Most people consider it as just a weapon.
This is hands down probably one of the most useful things you could have on you in an emergency situation.
These aren't necessarily "survival knives", but hey, ANY KNIFE is better than NO KNIFE!
You never know if you'll need to cut something, sharpen something, pry something open, throw a sharp object, etc. You just NEVER KNOW!
So make sure you have a knife... Pretty much goes without saying, but it still belongs in this list of things you need!
Me, personally... I want a ballistic knife. It has all the benefits of a knife, plus it launches the blade out at a couple hundred feet per second!
Also, like with all dangerous objects, stay safe with knives!

100%!
Why the #steemit tag on a post that's ot nothing to do with Steemit?
To spread awareness to important topics... It's the #1 tag. Didn't think it would offend anybody, I'll switch up that 5th tag for ya next post bud.
There was a time I had my knife. Yet somehow I lost the habit of carrying one. Though in retrospect it's a good thing I did. I've been stopped by cops for walking and for being parked more times then I can count. I got some ice cream an hour ago and while writing my last blog and eating my ice cream. I had two police officers come up to me. Run my id and ask me to leave. I can't win lol. I've met most of the cops in my area several times. So I might have to pass on the knife idea. Lol
Yeah I mainly recommend having one in a bug-out bag, along with certain other supplies, for an emergency getaway. Not necessarily for daily carrying, but for emergencies (:
