Hello fellow Steemians,

I am very glad to come your way today and present to the general steem-ghana community and the whole steemit team about how my day went.

Today been the first working day of the week, it is predicted that it is going to be a tiring day at work. Work usually starts at 8 in the morning but as junior staff in the biomedical science department I have to report as early as possible before one the senior staff will arrive.

Work usually starts through by cleaning and disinfecting the whole work bench by the junior staff and then reagents that will be used during that day is immediately prepared. I quickly prepared some of these basic reagents and it was around 9:46 in the morning when works started.

Unfortunately after I prepared these reagents I received a call from a friend who is not feeling very well. She needed a lot of attention of attention because she had complain some few days ago about abdominal pains and body weakness.

We both tried to get some pains killers from the pharmacy of which the pharmacist gave some great description on how to use them to ensure that the abdominal pains will reduce. However after she took those pain killers it reduce a bit but it was unfortunate that she was experiencing this problem again.

After few of the senior staff have arrived, I asked for permission to go and see her. I left around 11:40am and I got the some few minutes afterwards around 11:58am. Looking at how she w as feeling, I was not happy with her character.

I quickly called for a can-do driver and after he arrived I help her to into the can-do. We quickly set off and we went to the hospital. We got to the hospital at 12:20pm. I quickly helped her to get out of the can-do and send her to the OPD.

After taking her to the OPD, I had to go to the medical records office to request for his hospital folder. Immediately I goth there, I could not get the folder because the hospital has transformed from paper to paperless and so I have to wait until I get the the new digital code.

I had to wait close to 15 minutes before the electronic folder was created for me. I quickly rushed with the details to the OPD were there started checking her vitals. They check for some basic items such us her body temperature, blood pressure and height and some others.

After the nurses were done doing those basic parameters, she was asked to go to the consulting room to see the doctor. We were very lucky that today was not a market day. Immediately we got to the consulting room I waited outside on the queue although there was none.

I watched her go to the consulting room to see the medical doctor. After about 15 minutes, she was out and that the doctor has requested for test. We then visit the hospital laboratory, and they said we have to make payments at the account office before they can run the lab test.

I quickly rushed to make the payment at the account office and and the lab results was conducted and sent online to the medical doctor. We were then asked to go and see doctor, she went there and she was given some drugs to acquire at the pharmacy.

It was rather unfortunate we could not get anyone of the drugs from the hospital dispensary, we therefore have to go to the near by pharmacy to acquire them. we then took another can-do to our various place of abold.
