THE DIARY GAME || [21ST SEPTEMBER 2022] || THE HOLIDAY RICE BALL PARTY.

Hello, fellow steemians,

I am glad to share with you my activities for today the 21st of September 2022. I hope you like it and enjoy how my day went with me.

Today is a holiday when you come to Ghana and it is a day set aside to remember one of our greatest leaders and greatest if you ask me. This is a day set said to remember the founder of the Freedom party in Ghana and the leader of the people who help forth for independence in Ghana.

He is in the person of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. When you come to Ghana and mention his name, everybody will tell you who he is. He is currently not among the living as such this day is set aside to remember him.

Because it is a Holiday, no work for Government workers, and as such we are free to do whatever we want if only it does not intrigue someone right. Even though I knew today was a Holiday, I went to bed very late as a result I work up around 10 AM.

Immediately I woke up, I called my friends who we had all planned to meet and prepare some food to eat. Because my friends were available I was ready. They gave me a description of the place they were and by the time I go there, they had already started everything. I quickly joined them to help finish what they were doing.

When I got there they had finished boiling the rice and it was ready for it to be molded into balls. Because I was late I took over from them. I quickly started molding the rice into balls and keeping them in a plastic bag for its tips to be covered by those who were free. Fortunately, those who were around.

We were doing that while taking and fortunately a friend came to join us. He was new so he was not aware of what was going on. After I spoke to him about what we are doing, He decided to give us one full goat in addition to what we had done.

Almost all of us rejoice and the gentleman asks him where the goat will be. He quickly instructed us to join him at his house when he gave the most to us. Those among us who know how to dress the Goat when outside to prepare it. the run to a different location where they prepared the Goat. they sliced it into small cubs and brought it in kebabs.

Together we enjoyed the rice balls with groundnut soup and we then added the kebab to it. We eat this food till everyone was full. We left our various homes very satisfied and I believe nobody will eat till the next day.
