Venezuela, take this chalice away from me. Memories of your heyday!

Greetings dear Steemians.

Memories that transport us to a place and time, if we go back 20 years, we would see that the Peruvian-Venezuelan relationship has not only occurred with the mass migration that is currently taking place.

If we start to remember and think about everything that Venezuela exported, apart from its natural resources, it is impressive. That nineties era was one of the most productive with reference to art, as they stood out on TV with great soap operas, an outstanding musical production, especially in salsa; and how to forget the many "miss" that stood out in each contest and it was daily bread to be queens of so many beauty contests.

I remember that in the afternoons after lunch, my mother stayed to watch a novel, which from time to time she made me stay and not go out to play, children's things, that novel was called "Dirty Face" I don't know if they remembered it. This novel, along with those of the Mexican Thalia, are the kind that I remember as a child that she has seen, but I do know that my mother saw many more, such as one called "Cassandra", but well, so many productions that Venezuela exported in large numbers.

We are talking about Servando and Florentino, Salserin, Los Adolescentes, who, although never compared to the greats of salsa such as the maestro Óscar de León, it is necessary to recognize that they brought salsa to the youngest and made the genre more popular; Especially here where I belong to Peru, it is to be confessed that we are more of an old-school salsa and that at that time the young people were not interested in things from those times in Perú.

In particular, and personally, the group that hit me a lot was "The teenagers", because their themes, although of love, were much deeper with a real plot and not the normal themes of butterflies and fairies, one that for me was the best And it was not romantic, it was this one that began like this -Because of my father's mischief for nine months I had ...- simply a social issue that to this day afflicts us in our especially Latin American society.

And how can I forget to mention that rhythm that made many move, especially my parents (especially remembering my beautiful mother to dance that rhythm) and uncles, but when I listen to it today it transports me to those times of childhood and adolescence, and a very special place, to Venezuela.

How can I not remember Natusha, Los Melodicos, Los Fantasmas del Caribe, Miguel Moly, Karolina and so many other great exponents, that if I mention them to the most exponents I would not finish this post. Great artists who gave birth to this musical genre, which was a boom in the 90s in Peru. And especially this affinity is given even more when knowing that the composer of most of these musical successes were made by the Peruvian Luis Alva.

A very special mention is also a song by a Colombian music group, which pays tribute to the beautiful women of the llaneras; the group that is well known to many is Binomio de Oro and the song is "Caracas", you will see that if you listen to it, nostalgia will knock on the door of memories. Above I leave the song.

Finally, it is necessary to mention the world and universal beauty contests that Venezuela has given us for South America. To conclude, this has been a small tribute remembering the golden age of the plains country. I hope they will resume their vast production and delight us again with their great talent. VENEZUELA SUCCESSES AND STRENGTH!

Greetings and thanks for the community support.
