Flowers in Monochrome & Colour ~ Nature Photography 🌺

For Today's Nature Photo blog, I walked around my local lake seaching for some beautiful flowers that I have not seen before. If you look hard it's amazing what you can find. Also I enjoy using some simple special effects and tints to enhance the final photo versions.

I often feel that so many people prefer to view Photography in colour, but Monochrome does have a certain magic that is so hard to explain. If you take away the colour element, then your eyes begin to focus more on the patterns and shapes of the petals and leaves. In my opinion, these flowers demonstrate my theory perfectly.
