The sun rises in a day of darkness when the brave knights are ready to fight against evil.

Oh great lord who illuminates us with with good rewards, give me strength so that my criticism is not harsh but rather fair.

The discovery

I recently noticed the presence in my feed of a church here in steem, do not pay much attention until several of the accounts that I follow were inclined to post religious content, each time earning more transit of comments and rewards. also noticing how his writing had changed to a more poetic and mediaval, self-proclaimed knights and warriors (which seemed a bit funny at first).

The laughts

Seeing the acolytes that the church had and its way of writing posts, it amused me a lot, the way each of the users put names, knight titles and enlisted in the crusade against evil as in a role play is too much to be true.

Thinking that everything was a well-armed joke was my main bet with the @steemchurch, its creator @sirknight a character who calls himself as:

Funny right?

It really makes you think about how real this church is. Is it really just a way to attract Catholics and generate an income? all this while I laughed at the poetic way in which this character handled his creation and how he responded to the comments of his followers.

The impression

As I further investigated the purpose of this church I realized that besides being funny it was sincere and intelligent, "The crusade for freedom" being freedom = cryptocurrency promoted by the Catholic religion, creating a community of adepts willing to help any individual that sympathize or participate in its movement generating profits for all and spreading the word is something nice that is very good.

And if all this happens while people have fun playing the crusades then much better!

I realized that this initiative is helping many people with their goals and whatever the church may look like, that is a good result.

How funny it would be if a mosque was created in steem and a crusade between Islam and the catholics of steem for dominating the sacred rewards really happen? So the whole roll of the knights would take an even more important meaning making it a much more fun and vicious game.

These are just thoughts tho.

I hope that this movement of Catholics will not become radicalized. making the experience in steem for other users uncomfortable. That everything is spiritual learning and fellowship for all.

Despite all, my brothers, I have fallen prisoner of the desire to join the ranks in the crusade for freedom, but I fear, with the sorrow of my soul, that I am not prepared for this task. When the time is right I will take my sword and aim it at the sky, surrendering to the will of God completely and doing what he wants DEUS VULT! I say, freedom crusaders, let's destroy together the infidels who seek to govern us with diabolical ways.
