The benefits of music lessons for children

The daily contact with music, and even more his study or musical theory, has multiple benefits for the motor development of the child and intellectual at an early age. However, music education in Venezuela has not been very supportive as it really needed to be done. The musical or educational edification that promotes artistic and musical creativity in all ages, music is a significant part of the curriculum. But the Venezuelan Government has not given much importance to the case, in Venezuela, it continues to be one of the pending subjects for many teachers e students in Venezuela.

Music stimulates areas of the brain that can hardly be exercised in any other way. Those people who have had a musical training have a concentration and attention to detail above average, as well as a greater willingness to be constant and to follow a discipline in their day today.

In the study of music and / or a musical instrument, three aspects are fundamentally involved: visual memory, muscular or gestural memory and auditory memory, which interact in a complex intellectual process. This daily training contributes to expanding the memory, already applied to other aspects of life, allowing to fix memories, recent or old. In addition, the study and listening of music enhance creativity and mental agility, facilitating the solution of problems in an imaginative way.

The musical practice is a vehicle that can increase self-confidence and contribute to the solution of problems of lack of self-esteem of children, especially during adolescence. The practice and daily progress, and the sharing of music with other people in concerts and/or meetings reinforce the young person's self-confidence and provide the possibility of establishing new friendships and relationships. ve facet of their personality in the face of adult life.

Beyond the popular children's songs of a lifetime, repeated over and over again for decades from parents to children, music is a fundamental pillar in early childhood education, and a way to expand the abilities of children at various levels. Its power to stimulate emotional intelligence, as well as auditory and cognitive development from an early age, make it a sonorous source of information, highly beneficial for children.

Therefore, more and more parents should join the trend of instilling in their children a passion for an instrument from pre-school age onwards. Sharing with them the magic of musical notes when deployed on a score not only allows us to strengthen bonds and open sights: the effects of learning to play the violin, the piano or the guitar directly impact on their ability to learn, fostering their understanding of very different subjects such as mathematics, and expanding the limits of their imagination while cultivating a more sensitive facet of their personality in the face of adult life.
