BEVERAGE

Ah Mei Cafe provides tea, coffee and milk based drinks served by adopting the Chinese serving style.
MY EXPERIENCE

The Kwetiau / Char Kuey Teow is the right choice when I am not in the mood to eat rice but really need a filling meal.
Even though I am not Chinese, but I am quite familiar with this dish and since childhood I have liked Kwetiau, because I am in an area inhabited by Chinese immigrants. In fact, me and my mother often make rice noodles at home.

I ordered "KWETIAU SIRAM SAPI". This dish is Rice noodles served with tender ginger, spring onion in beef gravy.

Look! I didn't expect the presentation of the Kwetiau to look so much. Spoons, forks and chopsticks are also provided. Very appetizing this Kwetiau.

"KWETIAU SIRAM SAPI" contains more green vegetables, mustard greens. This is an important point because I really like green vegetables. The gravy is pretty thick.
The portion that looks a lot turns out I was able to spend it! About the taste, actually I'm not too satisfied because the gravy feels lacking in spices. As my favorite menu, of course I have delicious taste references elsewhere before. But it didn't matter because in the end I was able to spend my favorite noodles.

For drinks, I order drinks that are served typically in the style of Chinese society. I ordered a drink called YinYang which was served cold.
YingYang is a blend of tea and coffee. In some cities in the China Plain, this drink has been around for a long time and is touted as an energy-enhancing drink that encourages drinkers. YingYang has become the ancestral drink of Chinese people a day. They drink YingYang in the morning and enjoy it served with ice when the weather is hot.

The taste of YingYang is quite unique. If I usually get used to enjoying a mixture of coffee and milk, then this is the first time I enjoy coffee and tea.
The dominant taste is bitter, but not too bitter because there is additional milk in this drink.
I prefer the taste of Teh Tarik which I usually order when I go to Ah Mei Cafe.
CONCLUSION

Ah Mei Cafe, which has the concept of a warm traditional coffee shop, is suitable to be a gathering place for friends, to just chat or take your family to enjoy authentic cuisines inspired by Chinese culture.
The prices offered by Ah Mei Cafe make sense for mall areas in big cities. Ah Mei Cafe Outlets are available in several locations in Jakarta. The Ah Mei Cafe location that I often visit is Ah Mei Cafe at Pejaten Villange Mall, South Jakarta.
BONUS PART
I will show you some other menus that I enjoy at Ah Mei Cafe. There is Nasi Lemak Sambal Cumi (Coconut fragnant rice dish with egg, anchovies, peanuts, emping and squid chili) and Hot Teh Tarik (Tea mixed with milk, with its unique manufacture)
