It was one of those everyday kind of fit healthy walks that I seem to have on my surf beach, relaxing, calm and refreshing all rolled into one. On Thursday there was a magnificent rainbow over the ocean as there had been some showers on that day.
It was a pretty sight and one that I do no see very often.
At that time on the beach I thought it was going to be my only photo shot for the afternoon, but I was wrong. Because as I walked off the path I saw a couple of walkers, looking intently at this tree. Being the curious person I am and when they left, I ventured over to the tree to see what they were looking at.
This is what I first saw, a big blossomy gum tree. I took my first photo thinking I saw some butterflies. It was when I looked closely at the photo at home I was delighted to see that I did snag two butterflies in the photo after all.
it took a minute until my eyes focussed on the blue butterflies fluttering around the tree. Wow, I have been waiting for more butterflies to appear and here they were.
I was so ready to take some pics of these pretty butterflies but it was not easy because they were mostly fluttering. Waiting for them to settle onto the blossoms It was an endurance test of my patience and perseverance. But I did it,

My walk turned out to be one of those unexpected fun walks that I was so glad that I headed to the beach on Thursday afternoon.
