Frogs, who do not know this species of animal that can be easily found especially during the rainy season. His voice grew more like a song because the rain had fallen.

Well if you just know the type of frog who likes to jump, it turns out there are other types of frogs dubbed 'dancing frogs'.

Well, does this frog like to dance so nicknames like that? This frog is also known by the name of tropical frog or torrent. Enter the genus of Micrixalus type and until 2014 scientists have found 24 types of dancing frogs.

Then why did this frog get the nickname of a dancing frog? Apparently this is related to the male frog species which in the breeding season attracted the attention of female frogs. The male frog performs a unique action by stretching the hind legs and moving them back to their original position with rapid movement and adding eye catching. Due to the rapid movement of frog legs, it seems someone is dancing.

The more mature and large the size, the frog will be more actively dancing to attract the opposite sex.

Because of the unique frog, scientists have been researching their behavior since the tadpoles. Apparently after tadpoles hatched from the eggs, tadpoles are directly buried in the mud like digging to find food that is different from the frog species in general.

Then where can you see a frog like a joget? Do not be surprised, it turns out in India. Precisely in the mountains of the Western Ghat. In addition there is also in Kalimantan.

For the mating season, this frog begins after the rainy season ends after the flood ends.

And these frogs are particularly vulnerable to climate change, global warming due to the monsoon rains and water conditions in reproduction.
