How would your daily life and work life be without electricity from now onwards?

Honestly it will be boring and frustrating. Imagine going to work and there is something you need to do with the system and there is no light, probably you need the project submitted that very day and maybe client is waiting to hear from you, you could easily lose the job. Electricity is everything, it gives joy, it gives pleasure and relaxation of mind. It could even make one to work extra time. Life without electricity is like living in darkness, is just like being blind and not able to see anything.

What kind of equipment would be required to live a hassle-free life?
I would say a cell phone, a television and another cell phone, yes! Because people like me will rather stay in doors for a whole week when my phone is properly charged and my power bank to support the phone when there's no electricity. Outside is very troublesome. If you should be in your house, pressing phone and seeing movies nobody will complain that you did this or that to them. So I choose to have all this things mentioned to stay out of trouble and again I think a generator set will also help to stay out of trouble. When you feel like seeing a movie you can put on your generator and lock your door. Charging phones in the next door neighbors house can sometimes bring insult and to avoid that you should have your own equipment.

Would you be able to cope with life without electricity?
I don't think there is anyone who could cope without electricity unless the person is a new born baby. Even baby's enjoy light. As an adult who has a cell phone and that is what keeps you busy, or you work through your phone, I bet you you won't cope. How we react when our phones are off or when the battery is low says it all. We start running up and down looking for where to charge our phones and in the case where there is no electricity or fuel to power your generator, you have to go and pay 200 naira to charge your phone and trust me when battery's are low are the time important calls and messages comes in so I don't think I can cope without electricity.

Life without electricity is just hell especially this other side of the world where cooking and boiling water is being done with firewoods instead of electric stove, electric kettle and pot. Cooking of corn digitally is supposed to be done using electricity but we do it the other way round by using firewood. I would say that life without electricity is purely being blind without walking stick.
