I’m starting to think that cross-training is a really really really REALLY good idea…I pushed myself super hard last night (or so I felt), and then I decided to go jogging again today, so it hasn’t even been 24 hours, and I pushed myself today too, despite the warnings from my legs that they were totally going to quit and walk away from me if I didn’t treat them better! I only jogged my usual route but due to a complication with headphones, I ended up running the first little bit rather than jogging. Oops. I did my usual cool-down and felt okay, though a little sore, but when I got home I could hardly walk downstairs!!! I really don’t know how I’m going to drive to school with my muscles rebelling like this…I think I’ll rely on cruise control for pretty much the whole route.

Anyway, there’s my little complaint. And the conclusion? I should have listened to my gut about not jogging today, and gone to the gym or rode my bike instead. I’m going to cross-train from now on!

I’ve been feeling pretty stressed lately, which might explain why I decided to eat a chocolate bar for dessert today, but maybe I’m just babying myself. Most university students wouldn’t want to sit down and cry when they have a paper due on Wednesday, a group project due on Monday, and some readings to do for Friday, but I’m very tempted nonetheless! Maybe it’s because I forgot all about the group project until TODAY, which sucks because I was planning on getting an early start on the paper (something I NEVER do…) so that I’m not writing it last second on Tuesday. It looks like Tuesday will be the only day for the paper though, hence the stress. Oh, and our bathroom looks like it’s trying to grow something and I need to clean it, but don’t really have the time to do so. BAH! Oh well, life goes on.

Wow, I’m rather melancoly today! I’d better wrap this up before I bore anyone to tears!

Workout: Jogged 2.5 km, walked 0.5 km

Junk food: The aforesaid Malted Milk minus one bite (the Boy helped a bit!),and I also had 1/2 of a pizza sub, but I don’t really count that, as I’ve managed to factor it in to my menu plan. Go me!
