Taking responsibility for making things better is where personal growth comes from…
“There are two primary choices in life; to accept condition as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.” – Denis Waitley
At various points in life, things are going to go wrong, and a lot of the time, it’s not going to be your fault; things (or most likely people) outside of your control are going to have an impact on the work you are doing, and the choices you make when that happens are the ones that are going to define you.
Sometimes, accepting and moving on is all that we can do, but I have always found that taking responsibility for making things better is where personal growth comes from. For me, I realize I’m so grateful for the personal growth – seeing my flaws and taking responsibility for overcoming them.

Happiness is good, but well-overrated: what we hate most are the very motivators that put us in gear. A man drifts along with little to contribute until something agitates him enough to make a difference, whether for himself or for his communities.
