#ULOG 01: Sunday Escapade with Fambam :)

Good day fellow Steemians! I felt a sheer positivity within me upon knowing another kind of opportunity in steemit. I would like to thank @surpassinggoogle for giving us ideas about the so-called ULOG. The concept of Ulog has opened vast oppotunities to all aspiring bloggers like me since this stimulates unique creativity and talents within us. Another idea that I like about Ulog is we all have the freedom to speak out our minds. There would be no correct nor wrong contents with our posts as long as we maintain our uniqueness and originality.

To start off my Ulog blog series, I’m gonna post interesting happenings of my life and that includes the most recent and the highlights of my day.

We usually do family bonding at least twice every month and depending the complete attendance of my closest relatives. But this recent bonding is much memorable because I also invited over my best friends and workmates to join my family bonding.

It was Sunday morning when we drove off to Bolihon Beach Resort which is located in Carmen, Agusan Del Norte. It’s not that far cause we hopped on a fast-morning vehicle that took only 30 minutes to arrive to our destination instead of an hour of travel commute.

By the time we finally arrived at Bolihon Beach Resort, we settled on a two-storey large and nice cottage. What I like most on this cottage is that it has 2 large hammocks to lean on at the second storey.And the 2nd storey of the cottage was very good in viewing the overlooking landscape of the resort.

It almost looked like beaches in Maldives for there have been a lot of tourists that were relaxing by the sea. The sea was cleaner than I thought. It has no stray garbages nor seaweeds on the shore.

We did have a great much. We prepared “boodle fight” along with sweet potatoes, grilled pork belly, grilled milkfish and others. We ate a sumptuous lunch that made us really full. After an hour, we rode on a family- size boat. The driver took us a tour to the other side of the sea where we saw lots of swimming big fishes and jellyfishes.

Afterwards, we enjoyed our yummy snack called “TAHO” (Its a sweet mixture of Tofu, sago pearls and sweet calamay).

It was indeed a fun weekend escaped with family and friends.
