Ahead of the entry of Idul Fitri 1439 H. The price of meat in Punteut (Kota Lhokseumawe), North Aceh Regency, touched Rp 180,000 thousand per kilogram (180,000 Rp).

Based on one of my observations in the market Lhokseumawe (punteut), Thursday [14/06/2018], on the first day Meugang »tradition of meat consumption ahead of Idulfitri feast in Aceh. A number of impromptu beef traders began to hold a place, selling dangangannya street to the market.

In the morning, the price of beef reached Rp180.000 thousand rupiah per Kilogram. Although the price is quite expensive! but did not discourage people to buy the beef. Generally the price of beef sold at Rp 180,000 thousand / 1 kg is a good quality beef. As for the other meat, traders membanderolnya with the price of Rp 150,000 Rp / 1 Kg.

One trader said, the price of meat on days meugang difficult to drop its price below 180,000 USD. Because according to tradition, before the entry of Idulfitri festivities, the level of meat consumption is very high. While on a typical day, the price of meat sold Rp 130,000 Rp / 1 kg in other markets in Lhokseumawe [ACEH].
