There are times when you will successfully set up a team and you will then realize that the people you expected to perform properly in the team ended up performing woefully.

During such periods when you feel that your entire team has failed you, the next thing that comes to your mind is giving up on the team but another way out to the problem rather than giving up on the team is to grow your team.

The first thing you need to o instead of discarding the team, is to grow them, help them become better people.
As a good team leader, you have the responsibility of making them achieve their goals and dreams and make them become better individuals, they will never forget those things you do for hem.

If you feel that your team needs urgent action, you could just add some more relevant people to the team, some people who can make efficient opportunity of the thing that they have and help grow your team. In making such a decision, you need to be careful with your choice of selection this time around, in order to prevent your previous mistake.

Change the level of desired leadership if necessary, which means that you might need to work on yourself as a group leader to develop and grow yourself or better still change your style of leading, that might just be what the group needs to make it become better.

If at this point, there are still some people who seem not to be interested and hard working, you can take them off the group because you want your team to be better and not just a group of lazy individuals.

It might be really stressful, but you have to do it for the sake of the team, and ensure to work hard at it by making the sacrifice worth it.
