Oh how I love this time of the year. It's like living in a fairytale.
This is the best time of the year for anyone to visit the magical Finland! Highly recommend.
It is! Bring all your expensive winter clothes and fancy design winter boots for visiting the outdoors!
Some people wonder why Finns are so depressed.
How could someone be depressed with all that wetness and greyness!? So beautiful. Such fun.

There are plenty of wonderful places in Finland.
@apsu, is this in Finland? It's very beautiful, indeed, but I guess that when the snow melts there must be a lot of mud.
It's from Finland, it's not actually the winter yet but we had a lot of snow few days ago but now it all melted away.. leaving everything muddy and wet.

It looks like the weather is slightly humid there since how the snow looks really melty compared to powdery. I've seen the first snow in Massachusetts, and it reminds me of your photos.

Did you check the other post when the snow was still remaining? The melty snow is because it's still somewhat warm, it's going around -2 celsius and +2 celsius degrees.. when it gets -10 celsius or colder it'll quickly be very powdery :)

And no I haven't, I'll check it out. I sort of miss snow, but not when it's going on for months at a time. I freeze at 21 Celsius :0

In the summer??? Like daytime, I'm talking about night time weather. I would cry if it was cold when the sun was out.
Yes! We had a summer which was colder than it has been in ages. It is usually warmer than that, but even in 15 celsius you can see people in shorts and t-shirts :D
