HOW TO SUCCEED Part #2c - Coconut Wireless Mind Power.

Good day Steemians, this time, I will continue the book by Brian Adams, "How To Succeed", its about how our mind and the way of how we think affects us. So let's start now.

**COCONUT WIRELESS MIND POWER. The Tahitians have been using telephaty as a means of communication for many years. It is called the 'coconut wireless' and originates in the village of Papeete. When news event occurs the messages are sent telepathically to natives living at the other points around the island. Dr. Joseph B. Rhine, head of the Parapsychology Department at Duke University in the U.S.A., has been conducting extensive experiments which prove conclusively that Extra Sensory Perception (ESP), telephaty, clairvoyance and telekenesis are fact. Dr Rhine has done much to make these previously 'doubtful' human abilities an accepted form of modern day psychology. Dr Rhine's files show ample evidence of successful mediums transmitting and receiving thoughts over great distances. Perceptive individuals are able to 'visualize' in the mind's eye past, present and occasionally future events. The ability to 'see into the future' and to receive accurate mental impressions of what is going to take place comes by way of the superconscious mind. The assassination of the late John F. Kennedy was predicted by a well-known American clairvoyant. She accurately mamed the time, place and date the infamous killing was to occur. Unfortunately, her warning went unheeded.

**AUSTRALIAN CLAIRVOYANT PREDICTED WORLD WAR 1. In February of 1914, Mrs. Foster Turner, a well known Australian medium, at a seance with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, predicted the following: 'Europe will be diluged with blood. Great Britain will be drawn into war. Germany will be the antagonist and will totter Austria to ruin. Britain and her allies will emerge victorious.' This prediction was made long before there was any whisper of a general war.

**MIND-OVER-MATTER EXPERIMENT. Mind over matter is a reality. Among Dr Rhine's famous experiments at Duke University is one which shows that man can exert an effect on an object without physical contact. Deep concentration on a desired result before dice was tossed, brought forth the exact result each time the dice landed.

**PSYCHIC POWERS OF THE ABORIGINES. The Australian Aborigines have amazing mind powers or so it would seem to the average person. In certain directions the aborigine is infinitely smarter than his white brother because he has learned to tap and use psychic energy. For instance, a member of a tribe who is many miles away from camp and becomes ill, is able to let his family know by sending thought messages. An aboriginal actor worked with on a pilot episode of an Australian TV series, told me that members of his tribe near Alice Springs have a highly develop 'sixth sense'. 'Many aborigines are mental telephatists,' he said. 'We know when a member of our tribe sick, even though he might be fifty moles away. We know when a person is returning from 'walkabout' even if he's been away for six months. We know the exact direction he will arrive from. It is also possible to read another man's mind and know what he is thinking even though he may not say anything,' he told me. Certain tribes fire walk and my friend explained that the aborigine fire walker gains complete control over his body by directing it to the will of the mind.

**FIRE WALKING BAFFLES THE EXPERTS. The most baffling example of workable mind power is fire walking. This phenomena has been practised for centuries and still being practised in various parts of the world. Fire walking involves bare feet, burning hot coals and a superior command of mind. If there is trickery involved, man is yet to prove it. This ancient ritual stands as proof that man has a great power that can be called upon to produce amazing feats. Although it is not the aim of this book to delve into areas of psychic phenomena, a few example has been presented to illustrate the tremendous power of the mind over the body and over matter.

**WE ARE ALL MENTAL TELEPHATISTS. Without realizing it consciously, all of us are involved in mental telephaty at various times during our lives. Between friends and love ones who are apart there is often a silent communication of thoughts and feelings which can be 'picked up' by means of 'tuning in' to the mental vibrations of the other. Sometimes these mental impressions are vague, yet they are there and can be 'felt'. As a further example of mental teltphaty, consider the number of times, either at home or at work, you have thought of a friend or a business acquaintance when at the moment the phone has rung and that very person you are thinking about was the caller. This mental contact leads to the conclusion that we are part of and use a Universal Mind common to all men.

**WE ARE ALL PART OF ONE MIND. The mind cannot be seen. It is invisible and it is Infinite. No man has seen the mind, therefore, no man has been able to isolate it within the body of man. All that is known about the mind is what is does, not what it is. When we speak of 'mind' we speak of consciousness or thought, perception and awareness. Although there are three areas of the mind, there is only one mind and it is common to all men. It is universal mind, the origin of everything. Universal Mind is First Cause. It is God. Through Universal Mind there is energy and through this energy everything lives. Man's intelligence function through Universal Mind at the level of his concept of it. Universal Mind is an infinite power that does not need to be coersed into action.We do not ctreate this power, it is ever present, ever ready to work for as by working through us. When we select affirmative thoughts, this Indwelling powér responds by projecting our thoughts in an affirmative way resulting in affirmative external conditions. All thoughts has its birth in Universal Mind. We are all part and parcel of Universal Mind. It is a reminder that we are one with GOD from Whom there is no separation.
