Short stories are the youngest branch of the literary tree in almost all written languages. The original ka-i of the oldest branch or tree is epic and poetry. Although this history of epics is old, modern poetry appeared much later. When water dries up in a submerged char, it does not immediately turn to soil. There is no doubt that the flow of water will be stopped long before it becomes a grassy land. Then gradually a combination of soil, grass, branched trees. As can be seen in the field of our literature, poetry is the oldest and its roots are deeply rooted. As such, it would not be wrong to say that the history of short stories of the time is of modern times.
As the thunder roars in the ears, the lightning does not want to last for a moment. But the brightness of that one blink is the brightest light. I have been searching for this comparison about short stories for so long. I was trying to bring the lightning bolt of short story into the huge heavy body of literature. But the human mind, thoughts, perceptions, imaginations are so unstable and versatile, they can never be held together. Going to explain short stories in one way or another becomes another way. In a different way, it suddenly becomes different. A lot like mercury. Doesn't want to stay still anywhere. Now just try to bring the two hundred and fifty year old short story branch to mind. Nowhere can you keep him still for a moment. That is why it will not be of any use to try to tie him with a thick rope, which cannot be tied with a very fine wire. So I have nothing specific about short stories. I think this is the only definition of words or short stories.
People have always wanted to hear stories. He has made it possible to create and tell oral stories with the fine glands of his brain. There was no shortage of stories, no shortage of storytelling. Story after story, then story again, story again, then story end. There is no life. So there was never a shortage of stories, no shortage of people telling and listening to stories. Man has created his world with stories. The story has shattered his world. Like sand palaces, life stories are made and broken. One hundred and two and a half hundred years ago, a vigorous branch of the literary tree came out. Its leaves are slender, green; The branches are charming but not fragile. We want to call this branch the source of the literature we have written in this way. Then every day thousands of stories are being created, some of which are short-lived, some of which are hard metal, some of which are immortal and immortal like ancient rocks. Is it necessary to tell a short story about the branch that has been born in these two hundred and fifty years?

I think the point can be made clearer only by giving a direct example rather than presenting a description. Let's talk about some short stories then. The book published by the Italian author Decamenon contained many short stories. Simple, straightforward story. Yet we are decamen
I think the 'words' are an example of the development of short stories. But in the short story that has reached its peak today, Dekamenon's 'words' can no longer be recognized as short stories. Why did Rabindranath go to lyric poetry instead of writing epic poems in one place?
