Untuk membuat kopi jahe panas yang dibutuhkan adalah jahe, cengkeh, kopi dan gula pasir.
Jahe adalah tanaman rempah-rempah dan bahan obat.
Khasiat lain dari jahe cukup banyak seperti mencegah masuk angin, menurunkan tekanan darah tinggi, obat alami mengobati sakit gigi dan untuk mengurangi sakit kepala karena migran.
