Ella es mi mamá, se llama Lisbet Espina, nació en Maracaibo, igual que yo, y actualmente tiene 56 años. Ella me tuvo a mí en su cumpleaños número 28 y, el regalo no fue para ella, ella es mi regalo desde ese cuatro (4) de enero del 92.

Mi mamá creció en una familia disfuncional, como cualquier otra en latinoamérica, en la cual tenía a sus dos padres y sus tres hermanos. Ella es la segunda hija, si vamos de orden de mayor a menor, y desde muy joven le tocó salir a trabajar para ayudar a la familia con la manutención económica porque mi abuela decidió separarse de mi abuela.

My mother grew up in a dysfunctional family, like any other in Latin America, in which she had her two parents and three brothers and sisters. She is the second daughter, in the order of oldest to youngest, and from a very young age she had to go out to work to help the family with financial support because my grandmother decided to separate from my grandmother.

Ella intentó en varias oportunidades darme hermanos, pero no pudo, tristemente. Sin embargo, ella es una mujer luchadora, llena de muchísimo amor, comprensión, inteligencia, carisma, entre sus millones de cualidades. No tuvo tanta suerte en el amor como cualquier persona en el mundo lo desea, pero dice que lo mejor de su relación con mi papá he sido yo y conociendo a mi papá, le creo. Estuvimos solas contra el mundo desde que yo tenía ocho años, aprendimos muchísimo en el camino porque ella era madre primeriza conmigo y yo hija única de ella. No fue sencillo, pero lo logramos, llegue viva a la mayoría de edad y comencé la universidad, ella se esforzó muchísimo para que lo logrará y, bueno, ahí se torció todo.

Hoy en día estoy de nuevo empezando de cero, apreciando más los colores que no veía cuando la vida era gris. Mi madre me ha dado la vida tres veces: al nacer, al salvarme de ahogarme a los dieciséis y en diciembre del 2019.
