Flying among the stars - oil, synthetic enamons, glue and spray on canvas.

Hello to all dear friends I hope you are all well.

As you know here in Italy we have some problems, the problem of death. For several days I have been trying to overcome my bad thoughts, to pass on. There are not many ways to get up, especially when you are dealing with mourning, of friends hospitalized in hospital and people you knew and now you don't even know if they are still alive.

When you find yourself positive to the buffer you enter the vortex, it cancels all relationship with the world and remains alone for weeks.

You are not allowed to talk to anyone, you are in complete isolation in a room with only the bed.
And you don't know if you come out alive because at the first serious respiratory crisis they intubate you and wait.

Well, let's go back to the painting which is better.

For some days I have left the watercolors aside and I am dedicating myself to oil painting mixed with glue and synthetic enamels.
I also use some sprays to give more lightness to the brush strokes.

I felt the need to look for new, more dreamed subjects.

Today's painting represents an interstellar flight with a winged horse. My dream, which coincides with that of millions of Italians to find a new world soon.

I hope that this damned pandemic will soon disappear from the face of the earth, and in any case the world will no longer be as before.

Maybe cleaner.

Volando tra le stelle.

Ciao a tutti cari amici spero che stiate tutti bene. Come sapete qui in Italia abbiamo qualche problema, il problema della morte.

Sono diversi giorni che tento di superare i miei brutti pensieri, di passare oltre.

Non ci sono molti modi per tirarsi su, soprattutto quando hai a che fare con i lutti, di amici ricoverati in opsedale e di persone che conoscevi e ora non sai più neanche se sono ancora vive.

Quando ti trovano positivo al tampone entri nel vortice, esso annulla ogni rapporto con il mondo e resti da solo per settimane.

Non ti è permesso di parlare con nessuno, sei in isolamento completo in una stanza solo con il letto.
E non sai se ne esci vivo perchè alla prima grave crisi respiratoria ti intubano e aspetti.

Ba bene, torno a parlare del dipinto che è meglio.

Sono alcuni giorni che ho lasciato da parte gli acquarelli e mi sto dedicando alla pittura ad olio mescolata con colla e smalti sintetici. Uso anche alcuni spray per dare più leggerezza alle pennellate.

Ho sentito l'esigenza di cercare nuovi soggetti, più sognati.

Il dipinto di oggi rappresenta un volo interstellare con un cavallo alato.
Il mio sogno, che coincide con quello di milioni di italiani di trovare presto un mondo nuovo.

Mi auguro che questa maledetta pandemia sparisca presto dalla faccia della terra, e comunque il mondo non sarà più come prima.

Forse più pulito.
