Waiting for a change - watercolor on paper [detail] and some steps

Here we are, all together fighting against injustices, or at least what we think are injustices.

It is difficult to say how it will end but we hold on and continue united all together.
Last night I worked on this subject painted in watercolor, without drawing but with a very clear idea of ​​mine.

We are all involved in the vortex of an attempt by a single individual who wants to subvert a democracy.
A single man is changing the cards on the table with authority and imposition, an authoritarian choice not shared by groups of people.

We are only figures, shadows carrying the cross, in the global disaster that awaits us.

Can we expect something good?

If these are the conditions, I have many doubts about it and a weak hope for a return to normal.

I painted a scene from the drama, against the light, with people waiting and others carrying the cross. All around dark shadows that prefigure something bleak. A light of hope illuminates the landscape we are all waiting.

Attesa di un cambiamento.

Eccoci qui, tutti insieme a lottare contro le ingiustizie, o almeno quelle che noi pensiamo siano ingiustizie.
E' difficile dire come finirà ma teniamo duro e proseguiamo uniti tutti insieme.

Ieri notte ho lavorato a questo soggetto dipinto ad acquarello, senza disegno ma con una mia idea ben chiara.

Siamo tutti coinvolti dentro il vortice di un tentativo di un singolo individuo che vuole sovvertire una democrazia.
Un uomo solo sta cambiando le carte in tavola con autorità e imposizione, una scelta autoritaria e non condivisa dai gruppi di persone.

Siamo solo figure, ombre che portano la croce, nel disastro globale che ci attende.

Possiamo aspettarci qualcosa di buono?

Se questi sono i presupposti ho molti dubbi a riguardo e una fievole speranza di un ritorno alla normalità.

Ho dipinto una scena del dramma, in controluce, con persone in attesa e altre che portano la croce. Tutto intorno ombre scure che prefigurano qualcosa di tetro. Una luce della speranza illumina il paesaggio siamo tutti in attesa.
