Jonny-clearwater is hosting the Pixel Art Weekly where he is encouraging pixel artists to create a piece of art, in pixel. By encouraging other artist to show their work he is making Steemit great. The more original artwork on Steemit, the better. Other than that jonny-clearwater is also very active on @steemspeak. An allround great guy.

Geggi is a macro photographer. Taking close up pictures of what geggi finds interesting. Mostly you will find macro photos of flowers. Geggi derserves to be mentioned because of the original content the user is giving to steemit. Photos like the one above derserves to be seen more, therefore I introduce to you, Geggi632. Sharmin is a painter. I just discovered her today. She signed up in May and immediately starting posting her art. I think it's amazing what influence Steemit can have on artists. They must feel some sort of justice. Sharmin probably was longing for that justice and therefore started posting on steemit. Her work deserves to be seen more, because it adds great value to the steemit community. If you're into painting and art, she is worth a follow.

Really nice post! I strongly believe steemit offers artists the change to share their art with others and make money with it, more than on other websites.
Artist these days have it really hard, because most people don't really care about every artist out there any more, and you can literally be poor and starving because you chose to do a job you love and create art.
I admire the fact that you decided to write a post about them and mention some artist and their work on your page.

Steemit is a great way for artist who might never make it big, to make a small amount of money from their beautiful work.
