Hello everyone, today I bring you something very different from what I used to do, this time I made a landscape of an anime that I really like, which is S.A.O (SWORD ART ONLINE). I made this painting with a combination of pastel chalks and colored pencils, I hope you like it!

MATERIALS
The materials used for this painting were: Colored pencils, pastel chalk and a 2B pencil.

PAINTING PROCESS
STEP 1:
The first thing I did as in all my drawings, is the simple sketch of the object, thing or person.

STEP 2:
After sketching I proceeded to paint the sky and then the mountains, being the sky first, since it is further back. Every time you paint it is important to paint first what is behind and then what is later, in order to have a better finish and be not uncomfortable when painting.

STEP 3:
In this step, I painted the lake with the pastel chalks, giving it brushstrokes, to achieve the effect of the water.

STEP 4:
Then in this step I painted the pine trees and the trees that are in front of the lake and behind the flower and the swords.

STEP 5:
In this step I painted what stands more out most of the painting, which are the swords. These swords I painted with colored pencils and I also made the base of the lawn with the chalks.

STEP 6:
Therefore I painted the lawn with strokes of chalk in various directions, to achieve the effect of grass.

And as a last procedure I painted the flower, which was ahead of all the elements of the painting. This flower like most of the painting is made with pastel chalks.
