With the curve of my breast
My lip trembles
And savors your name
A hand slides up my stocking
A garter unfastens
But wait
The music stops and there’s a vinyl record
That longs for its other side to be played
Jazz and perfume
A twinkle from an ice cube
In your highball glass
You’ve been so gallantly nursing
As you quietly observe me
As I make my way to you
To love you
