Memories of Italy

I was looking through our family trip photos from long time ago. I found Venice pictures. It was my big dream to visit Italy, and Venice was absolutely worth of traveling there. It is so beautiful all the canals, gondolas, and narrow streets. It is very unique. I asked my husband to try and revisit this city when we are retired.

Palazzo Ducale, or the Doge’s Palace, is one of Venice’s famous buildings, it is side-by-side with well known St. Mark’s Basilica and connected to the Bridge of Sighs.

The Campanile di San Marco is an impressive tower in the center of St. Mark’s square, it is 99-meter high. It was used as a lighthouse for ships and as a watchtower during war times.
