Charlie Puth - hatched portrait.

Every time I do choose the line hatched shading to make a sketch or a portrait I actually start with a reference Sketch with light touch with the same pen like this

Then I star with a low pressure application of the exact same pen to give a primary shading- like this.

This is how I usually make these portraits.
