Steps of the process

Creating a thin layer of wet sketch on the surface. Using only basic colours matching the skeleton of the character and theme of the painting.

Creating the smudgy background with wet on wet methode to avoid sharp edges.

Adding some shadows and highlights with medium colour adjustments. Let the drawing for drying.

Finally giving all the detailing.
