Travel with me - travelling to The River Don My first time, in pictures

The kids were at school so me and the wife took the opportunity to make a packed lunch and go for a drive to find somewhere quite to eat it before heading back.

We decided that the river Don would be a good place to park up eat our sandwiches and enjoy the sunshine, the stretch of road we parked on was miss leading as we believed from looking on Google maps there would be a banking for us to sit on while we ate the food and fed the ducks.

We pulled up unpacked the car and found that there was a hill of nettles and nothing at the bottom apart from tree branches that had fallen down, it looked like the whole place could have done with a clean if you ask me.

after we ate our lunch the remaining bread we fed to the ducks, there only seemed to be 2 ducks but once the bread hit the water they swam from all directions.
then this massive swan came and started to bully the ducks to get the bread, it was quite funny to watch.
