US President Donald Trump said that if Saudi Arabia wants to continue the presence of US troops in Syria, they will have to pay for it.

He said this at a press conference in the White House on Tuesday. News Al Jazeera

Trump said at the press conference, "We have almost finished the [IS repression] work and based on the coordination with others in the region, we will soon make the next move."

He said, "Saudi Arabia is very interested in our decision and I told them, 'If you want us to be there [Syria], then maybe you will have to pay it.'

Earlier, on Monday, the phone talked to Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, Trump. But the statement from the White House on Tuesday about the phone call did not mean that the trump is asking Saudi Arabia for the cost of US troops in Syria.

Besides, there was nothing like this in the statement given by the White House on March 20 after a trump meeting with the Saudi Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
