I went out for a walk with my family this afternoon after a lot of busy time. First I went to National parliament house then I went to the old airport Agargaon.

National Parliament house is the main building of the Jatiya Sangsad in Bangladesh. It is located in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area of Dhaka. Renowned American architect Louis I. Kahn is its original architect

Of the eleven parliamentary elections held so far in Bangladesh, the first and second parliamentary sessions were held in the old parliament building, which is now used as the office of the Prime Minister.

Construction of the national parliament house for the Legislative Assembly for the then Government of Pakistan East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) and West Pakistan (now Pakistan) began in 1971. After the completion of the construction work on 26th January, 1972, the first Parliament House was used in the 8th (and last) session of the 2nd Parliament of Bangladesh on 15th February of the same year. Since then, the building has been used as a major hub for law-making and government operations.
