Travel with family on holidays to National Parliament House and Old Airport Agargaon ||#CLUB5050 ||10%@hive-111293
I went out for a walk with my family this afternoon after a lot of busy time. First I went to National parliament house then I went to the old airport Agargaon.
National Parliament house is the main building of the Jatiya Sangsad in Bangladesh. It is located in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area of Dhaka. Renowned American architect Louis I. Kahn is its original architect
Of the eleven parliamentary elections held so far in Bangladesh, the first and second parliamentary sessions were held in the old parliament building, which is now used as the office of the Prime Minister.
Construction of the national parliament house for the Legislative Assembly for the then Government of Pakistan East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) and West Pakistan (now Pakistan) began in 1971. After the completion of the construction work on 26th January, 1972, the first Parliament House was used in the 8th (and last) session of the 2nd Parliament of Bangladesh on 15th February of the same year. Since then, the building has been used as a major hub for law-making and government operations.

Welcome to Dakota Biman, which is full of memories of the great liberation war.
The Dakota is one of the three Indian Air Force aircraft used in the war of liberation since the birth of the Bangladesh Air Force in September 1971. .The original owner of this aircraft was the Maharaja of Jodhpur, India. Originally a transport aircraft, it was capable of dropping bombs on enemy territory with 5,000 pounds of bombs. The aircraft was widely used by the Bangladesh Air Force during the war of liberation.
I don't know much about these planes, so I just gave pictures.
To the west of this museum is Begum Rokeya Sarani and Computer City (IDB building) and to the east is the vast runway of Tenjgaon Airport and Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar. To the north are beautiful lakes and to the south are green groves and forests.
