Air-Traffic Control Room of the Airport was incorrectly instructed to land the pilot of the US-Bangla Airlines pilot. Just before the plane crashed, there was a glimpse of the air traffic control room with the aircraft pilot in the last conversation.
Nepal English daily "Nepalese Times" control room has got an audio record of the pilot's latest conversation. In Nepali daily, the pilot said that the cockpit was confused because of the wrong message from the control room.
Audio recordings are being heard at the beginning, the flight pilot is instructed to land at the number two runway on the right side of the airport from the control room. Then the pilot said, okay sir. According to the instructions, the pilot said that the plane should be taken to the right of the airport in the control room.
But because the runway was not free, he again contacted the control room . At that time, he was given a different message. Now the question is, can you stay in your current position?
At this time, request the pilot to get two numbers runway free. But he was given a different message again. After some time the pilot said, sir, I request again to runway free. Immediately after that the plane started to sound bitter. Shortly afterwards, the plane was stuck on a football field adjacent to Trivucan Airport.
It left with 71 passengers from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 12.15 pm. After reaching Nepal, at the local time at 2:20 pm (Bangladesh time 3 minutes 5 minutes) it crashed. It was almost 40 people died :(
