Vienna: The city of Music (Part 1)
If there's a city in Europe that you can describe as 'Majestic', that's Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Full of great and regal buildings, with amazing and wide avenues and beautiful places to visit, the city know as 'The City of Music' irradiates culture and history.
You can enjoy the peace of breathtaking places as the Belvedere Palace, with absolutely perfect gardens and wide spaces to walk and get lost. It's a Baroque style palace built as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy... not bad at all to be a place to spend a couple of months.
Of course, you can't speak about Wien without mention the geniuses of music that were born in Austria. Mozart, Schubert, Haydn or Strauss made from Vienna the European city of Music. You can see statues of all of them in many corners of the city, like the one inside the Burggarten, the Imperial Palace Gardens.
Or the golden monument of Johann Strauss, situated in the Stadtpark (City Park), being one of the most popular photographic subjects in Vienna. It's like an altar, always full of beautiful flowers to honor one of the biggest composers in the history of music.
